"Poor sound and broke within a year" 2009-04-19
By Prof. J. Peters (NY, USA)
There is quite a bit of sound interference - white noise. Worst of all, the flexible electronic ear band broke and now hangs loose. This was without rough or even regular use. Though the unique design helps it stay on your ear - the reason I bought it - I won't buy it again. Just too pricey for such a high branded, yet low sound quality, fragile headset.

 "Try before you buy!" 2008-05-11

I've owned this since for three days and I can't really say much about it yet, but I can say that the sound quality is not as great as one would expect. Breaking it down:

1) Comfortability: I'd rate it 5/5. it hooks over the ear nicely, although it's a little tricky. If you can, try putting it on first at a store that places this on display or ask an employee to examine it.

2) Build: 3/5. It seems like it's made of plactic and definitely flimsy-ish. if you look closely, even at the pictures, you'll see that after the power button towards the ear piece seems a little skinny. That part is bendable. I'm sure it's to aid in placing the headset on the ear, but I feel like i might bend it too much and break a wire or something. The call/answer button is place in a way that makes it easy to push it without having to push down on your ear. the ear piece is a swivel-type so you can adjust it. I also like the idea of a necklace to attach the headset to so I can hang it when I don't want it in my ear. Volume control is a bit tricky to hit. Power button is place conveniently in an accessible position that keeps it from accidentally being touched.

3) Connectivity: 2/5. The bluetooth connects very easily with my motorola rizr z3. haven't tried autopairing yet. However, in order to carry a clear conversation, you'll need to keep the phone close by. It's best to keep the phone on the same side that you wear the headset, and keep it within a yard's distance away.

5) Sound and Microphone: 3/5. This depends on connectivity, but sometimes, there's static when the person at the end of the line speaks. It's not overwhelming, but it can muddle some words. I haven't had much problems being heard though, except today when my brother couldn't here me very well.

Well, that's that.

All in all, the best thing to do with this product is to try it before you consider buying it.

"Great Headset - Among the best" 2008-04-25
By David Fitch (Rogers, AR USA)
I've had quite a number of bluetooth headsets and this one ranks among the 2 I would consider the best. Well built and easy to use this headset performs extremely well with great sound and a good range. I had a Jawbone which I also enjoyed but the attachment for the ear broke...it's a very poor design. The only thing better with the Jawbone was it's noise cancellation which was excellent and better than any other on the market. However, to use the ear attachment on the Jawbone without losing the attachment I needed to super glue it to the headset so when the attachment broke I had to replace the headset. Many people also had this problem with the Jawbone. Hey, the Sony unit is half the price of the Jawbone and for most folks would provide the most important needs for bluetooth headset users. The Sony also comes with a neck strap to hold the headset when you're not using it. It's a big plus and don't understand why other headset mgfgers haven't offered this as a regular standard. Who wants a bluetooth stuck in their ear all the time? I've had alot of people compliment me on that aspect of its design. Try it, you'll like it. Connection was a breeze. I currently use with a Treo 650, which I'm planning on replacing.
